Division I - Kathleen Sharkey, Princeton
Sharkey broke open the
quarterfinal game for the Tigers, notching three consecutive goals for
Princeton after the hosts had fallen behind 3-2 at the half. Her four
on the day was a big reason why the Tigers defeated Syracuse and
advanced to the semifinals.

Kolojejchick had a solid weekend
for the Tar Heels, who returned to the semifinals with a pair of top-12
wins. She scored a goal in each match and added an assist in the
opening-round victory over Ohio State.

Howard led the Blue Hens to the
CAA title, helping hold JMU and Drexel to one goal in the two games. At
the other end of the field, Howard had a pair of assists, including on
the game-tying goal in the semifinal and the championship-winner in the
title game.
Rookie of the
Week: Charlotte
van den Broek, Virginia
Van den Broek picked a great time
to start scoring goals, notching the game-winner as the Cavaliers upset
UNC in the ACC semifinals. She then notched the opening goal in the
title game before UVa fell to Maryland 3-2 in overtime. The Dutch
rookie helped the 'Hoos allow only three goals in the three games
against three top-12 teams.

Hiltz' midfield play carried the
Eagles into the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history as
Husson defeated two higher seeds on the road en route to the berth. She
clinched a spot in the finals as she converted a stroke to defeat
top-seeded St. Joseph's of Maine before assisting on the game-winner in
the victory over Maine-Farmington.

Barker continues her hot streak in her rookie season with an
outstanding performance in the NEWMAC tournament in which she scored
three goals and added an assist as the Engineers won the title and the

Curran did not allow a goal in
150 minutes of action, helping the Chippewas to a 3-0 week. She
made seven saves to backstop Central to a 1-0 upset of Michigan before
scattering five more saves over the next two games.

Drake helped the Hawkeyes win the
final two games of the regular season, scoring the game-winner in the
upset of James Madison before putting Iowa on the board first as the
Hawks went on to win 2-1 over host American.

McCabe was a part of both
game-winners in double overtime this week, scoring the goal in the win

defensive save in the victory over the Lions that gave the Red Dragons
their second perfect regular season in school history.

With the Fords facing a win-or-done situation in their final game
against McDaniel, Hobbs scored a goal off a penalty corner in the 69th
minute to give Haverford a 3-2 lead they would not relinquish. She had
notched an assist on the second Ford goal earlier in the game, and she
added a goal and an assist earlier in the week in another conference
win over Swarthmore.

Grater picked a great time to
have a career-high in saves as she posted 12 in a 4-1 victory as the
top-ranked Terps defeated the second-ranked Tar Heels on the road.
Rookie of the

Phillips, Drexel
The rookie netminder came up big
for the Dragons, helping Drexel to a 1-0 overtime victory against
Lafayette before notching a 5-1 win over conference rival Northeastern.
In the Lafayette game, Phillips made seven saves, including five in the
extra session, to give Drexel the opportunity for the victory.

Santoli was a part of all three goals
for the Indians this week, including both game-winners in overtime. In
the 2-1 upset of East Stroudsburg, the sophomore assisted on the
game-tying goal before scoring off a rebound in the extra session. In
the final game of the season, Santoli and her teammates defeated rival
Limestone with a goal in overtime.

Demola, Adelphi
Demola helped the Panthers to the
NE-10 tournament as Adelphi posted a pair of conference wins, including
a 2-1 upset of Mass-Lowell. Demola notched the game-winning assist in
the win over the River Haweks and helped the defense allow just nine
shots on goal in the two games combined.

Louisville. In a key Big 10 game against Michigan, the rookie had a

Dornenburg backstopped the Mules to a pair of wins, including an upset
of Johns Hopkins as Muhlenberg became the first team to hold the Blue
Jays scoreless this season. She made 11 saves in the game against Johns

Redding started her week with a shutout of Eastern Connecticut before
making a career-high 18 saves through regulation and two overtime
periods followed by 5 saves over two penalty stroke rounds in a 3-2

McCardell keeps the honor with the Blue Hens this week after sparking Delaware to a pair of conference wins, including an upset of Old Dominion in which she set up a pair of goals, scored, and helped shut out the Lady Monarchs. She added a goal in the win over William & Mary to keep Delaware's conference slate perfect.

Lindsey helped the Dukes to three wins on the week, including a key conference victory over Drexel. The rookie had six goals on the week, scoring in every game.

Twist picked up three wins with some impressive performances in the cage as the Mountaineers defeated two top-10 teams. Twist made 11 saves in the defeat of No. 4 Kutztown before picking up three in a win over Houghton in a mid-week game. She closed the week with a 15-save performance against No. 8 Millersville as Mansfield won their third-consecutive game.

Widdison keeps the honor within the Bison family after helping Nichols remain undefeated with a pair of wins last week. She figured in all three goals in a 3-0 defeat of previously unbeaten MIT and then followed it up with an assist against WNEC while helping the rest of the defense not allow a shot in the second half.

On Sunday, she had the game-winner in the IUP game, scoring with just 16 seconds to go in regulation.

Otis repeats as Rookie of the Week after helping the Warriors post a 2-1 week. She had two goals and two assists in the three games as Merrimack notched wins over league rivals Assumption and Adelphi.

Forand backstopped the Bison to three wins on the week, including an upset of Endicott to close out the week. She made 16 saves while allowing only one goal, helping Nichols post two shutouts in the three games.

of top-10 victories on the week--both coming in overtime. Part of the
defensive unit that held the opposition to one goal each, Kee had a
defensive save against Michigan State that presevered the tie; she

the second goal of the game. She had two goals in the first half of the
title game against host Vassar to clinch the title.

The USA team member was instrumental in helping the Tigers come from behind twice to notch victories over ranked teams this weekend. Reinprecht helped Princeton rally from two down in the second half to defeat Ohio State in overtime before keying the break that led to the overtime winner in the upset of Syracuse.
Rookie of the Week: Lindsey Valadez, UC Davis
Valadez helped anchor a defensive unit that kept the Aggies undfeated in their recent varsity history -- after the program was reinstated this season, UC Davis swept their first three games, including two victories in overtime. Valadez also assisted on the game-winner over Missouri State.

Dornenburg helped the Mules to a title at their own tournament, posting wins over Elizabethtown and Susquehanna thanks to clutch saves from the rookie keeper. Dornenburg and her teammates shut out Etown before posting an overtime victory over Susquehanna; the rookie made a key save in overtime off a corner to preserve the tie.

Challenge title. She scored twice in a 3-0 win over Louisville while
helping shut out the Cardinals. Against Michigan State, Miller notched
the stroke in overtime that clinched the victory.
